Catapult Trials

The kids launched their catapults today in three challenges. The first challenge was the longest distance, second was closest to a target and the final was getting it over a "wall". I was so impressed with their strategic thinking as they adjusted their designs between trials and between challenges!

Catapults

Today the kids worked in teams to make a catapult using only popsicle sticks, rubber bands and a small paper cup. Their catapult needs to be designed to launch a mini marshmallow over a wall, go the furthest distance and also to hit a target a certain distance away. Stay tuned for launch day….
