Growth Mindset

Today in class we started talking about the brain as an elastic that can be stretched and changed. As students move forward with their education, and eventually into the work field and life, it is important they have qualities such as resilience, flexible thinking, and persistence. We will be talking these qualities and about growth mindset throughout the year. Your student should be coming home with an information sheet that outlines some things we will be talking about here in school. It also provides you with some tips, tools and things to say to your student as they are learning about this process.
